North Fremantle Foreshore Vegetation Management Plan
The City of Fremantle appointed Ecoscape, in association with Lush Fire and Planning, to develop a vegetation management plan, incorporating bushfire management, for the North Fremantle Foreshore. The document, addresses management of risks to native vegetation communities, aims to improve ecological integrity, enhance passive recreational values, preserve heritage values (including Aboriginal heritage) and defines on-ground actions to best apply resources.

This document was developed following field assessments that described the native vegetation of the area, dividing the foreshore into management zones based on landscape, vegetation, landscape function and bushfire management requirements, and included public consultation to identify aspects of importance to local residents. A series of management recommendations were developed for each management zone and for various aspects that were associated with multiple zones.
