Hammond Rise Estate is located just north of the development, on the corner of Irvine Gaebler Road and Irvine Road. Qube Property initially engaged Ecoscape to provide conceptual designs for all of the public open spaces in the subdivision, and have since been commissioned to provide a full scope of landscape architectural services for the POS and streetscape of Stages 1 to 5.
While much of the site was cleared, some areas of remnant bushland were retained. This has allowed Ecoscape to develop a unique identity for each POS while maintaining a consistent character throughout the subdivision. Additionally, where vegetation loss was inevitable a transplanting regime was employed focusing on local species. Ecoscape also produced a selection of residential garden packages for use in the estate. These designs included a mix of locally indigenous plant species augmented with a selection of low water demand exotic species to cater for varying buyer tastes in garden design. Exotic species were carefully selected to ensure no noxious weeds were introduced to the local area.
Stages 1 to 4 have been constructed to date and have helped shape a new ecological paradigm for Qube’s sales strategy.
