Ecoscape was thrilled to accept the National Landscape Architecture Award (AILA) for Cultural Heritage for Bilya Kard Boodja Lookout for the City of Belmont.

The landscape architecture team deserves a big round of applause for their hard work and careful thought process behind the project, said by the judges to be “an exemplar of the best practice currently being articulated by AILA in the development of our Reconciliation Action Plan.”

They go on to praise the project as “not only an important acknowledgement of the Traditional Owners of the land and our Aboriginal history, it also provides a beautiful, much needed parkland that will be loved by future communities for many years to come.”
