Ecoscape is delighted to announce that as part of the design team (landscape) for architects Cameron Chisholm Nicol in association with David Barr, the apartment project “Mika” at South Beach in North Coogee has been awarded an Architecture Award by the AIA in the Western Australian Architecture Awards.
Although Ecoscape’s involvement was modest, we are proud to have worked on the project with such fantastic, forward thinking architects that have been recognised for their excellence in design.
According to the jury:
“Sophistication and refinement beyond its modest means, Mika is a boutique residential development of 34 apartments situated in the new precinct of North Coogee…The design of Mika is simple yet highly considered, resulting in an elegant and well-proportioned streetscape that creates a strong and distinctive presence…The development delivers a[sic] well-planned spaces and quality finishes to all areas including the communal circulation and car park spaces. There are a variety of apartment types, each well though-out, responsive to orientation and eminently liveable.”
