Concept plans for a new skate park in Bibra Lake have received the tick of approval from one of the sport’s biggest bodies.
The facility is one element of a new $1.8 million recreation precinct the City of Cockburn wants to build on Bibra Drive. It will feature the skate park, a basketball court, barbecue area, a playground and close to 6000sq m of off-lead dog exercise space.
Skateboarding WA director Ben Bowring said the facility could “set a new standard for skate park design in WA”.
Ecoscape is proud to be a part of this project and two of our resident skaters are “stoked” to be involved in this community led project that featured input from skate groups and individuals from around the area, eager to see an upgrade to the aging and very basic skatepark that exists there now.
The design and concept was made in partnership with Carving Concrete Construction, local skatepark designers and aficionados. More information abut Carving Concrete can be found here:

We look forward to the completion of the project estimated for mid 2018 so we can get into it! So for all you eager skate rats out there, we’ll keep you posted on the project…watch this space.
