Environmental Science Landscape Architecture

Ecoscape was commissioned by Connell Wagner to assist in developing a Regional Recreational Path between Bardon Park and Banks Reserve. Ecoscape undertook an environmental assessment of various path options which considered the impacts associated with each path, the risk of these occurring and what management measures would be required to mitigate these impacts. This review formed the basis for deciding which path alignment was most appropriate. Once the preferred alignment was decided upon, Ecoscape prepared an Environmental Management Plan which provided management recommendations in relation to fire, pests and diseases, feral and domestic animals, environmental weeds, groundwater quality and wetlands. A landscape plan was also prepared for the site which considered revegetation, education and interpretation values.
